“Content Nausea” is one of those sticky, timely phrases that pops into my head again every week or so; the song lives up to the title, a nonstop stream of anxiety like the human condition in miniature. A lot of these punky songs feel like throwbacks to the 90s, but rather than shying away from confronting modern life, they create inviting oases where you can mosh and tell your problems to get fucked. “Wave Goodnight To Me” is a stand against gentrification; “A Pot In Which To Piss” is an ode to hard-won survival; “Becky” is an anthem in solidarity with snubbed friends everywhere.
