Harry Nilsson’s “Jump Into The Fire” is not only a song guaranteed to boost my energy levels every time I hear it, it’s one of my favorite karaoke songs. The vocal is basically amelodic but lets you scream your head off, and there’s plenty of room for improv, especially once the all-timer drum solo kicks in. The rest of this chapter is simply more 70s classic rock gold, from a serendipitous era when even fairly mediocre bands like Grand Funk Railroad were dropping unbelievable singles as if by accident.
