Get ready to feel so damn elegant with a collection of 18th century baroque and classical jams. “Gödel, Escher, Bach” (an all time favorite book of mine) really flipped my view on this musty old stuff - ‘music is math’ may be a cliche, but no one embodies it as fully as Bach. Pachelbel’s immortal “Canon In D” is an algebra equation come to gorgeous life. The rise of the keyboard allowed these guys to math out in brain-tickling ways, whether stirring the heartstrings or chilling you to the bone.
